Like it says, does any one have any awesome recipes they wanna share, if this thread takes off I'll post a few of my own recipes for things like Sheperds Pie and home made rainbow cookies!. Post three recipes and I'll post mine ^_^

Sweet and Sour Chicken
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup water
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 lrg green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 cups hot cooked rice
1/2 tsp MSG (optional)
vegetable oil
Sweet and Sour sauce (see below)
Pour oil into a deep frying pan to a depth of 1 to 1.5 inches. Heat to 375F, or until a 1-inch bread cube browns in 1 minute (a deep fryer also works well) While oil heats, prepare sweet-and-sour sauce. In a small bowl, beat flour, cornstarch, salt, msg, baking powder, water, and 2 tsp oil with an electric beater until smooth. Dip meat into batter with tongs; fry in hot oil, turning once, until golden brown. Drain and keep warm. Stir green pepper and onion into sweet-and-sour sauce. Cover and simmer until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Serve meat and sauce over rice.

Ingredients:
· 2 large eggs
· 1 cup flour
· 2/3 cup sugar
· 1/2 cup butter
· 1 tbsp maccha (green tea powder)
· 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation:
Cream butter in a bowl. Add sugar in the butter and mix well. Gradually add beaten eggs and stir well. Sift flour, baking powder, and green tea powder together and add the flour to the egg mixture. Pour the batter into a buttered loaf pan. Bake in preheated 340 degrees F oven for about 30-40 minutes.

coffee jello:
Ingredients:
2 cups coffee
1 Tbsp gelatin powder
2 Tbsp sugar
*whipped cream for topping
Preparation:
Mix gelatin powder and 4 Tbsp of water in a small cup. Mix coffee, sugar, and the gelatin in a sauce pan. Stir well on low heat until sugar dissolves. Strain the mixture and pour into four cups. Cool them in the refrigerater. Put some whipped cream on top of the jelly before serving.
*Makes 4 servings

JELLO CREAM CHEESE SALAD

1 sm. box Jello (any flavor)
1 pkg. cream cheese
1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
1 reg. size container Cool Whip
1 can crushed pineapple
2 c. boiling water

Add boiling water to package of Jello. While hot, add cream cheese and marshmallows. Stir until dissolved. Let cool until congealed. Whip Jello mixture and add crushed pineapple. Fold in Cool Whip. Place in dish and let set. For added treat, you may add second color Jello made as directed and pour on the top after the first layer is set.

I LOVE cooking!
But i never really use recipes for most things except when baking (cause then it has to be all precise)
I love to experiment around, try new things each time to see how much better I can make it.
